About Dana Wicker, NP

Dana Wicker has been a valued member of River Place OB/GYN for the past six years, serving as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She brings with her over 15 years of experience in women’s health, including her previous role as a labor and delivery nurse supervisor working alongside Drs. Shepherd and Thoppil.

Dana earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (Go Badgers!) and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama.

She believes in a balanced, holistic approach to healthcare as a foundation for long-term wellness. While Dana provides care for women across the lifespan, she has a particular interest in the unique healthcare needs of teenagers, as well as in sexual wellness and addressing low libido in women of all ages.

Outside of the clinic, Dana enjoys hiking, football, and spending quality time with her son, Henry, and daughter, Lauren.
